(Gardenia vietnamensis)

A fairly uncommon plant with a large, 3”, white fragrant flower. It is a gardenia flower with characteristics similar to Gardenia Augusta, such as the sweet fragrance and leaf shape. The flower differs in that it has a single layer of five petals. It is much easier to grow than many Gardenias as it is more tolerant of overly moist soils as well as drought.
