Pisang Lemak Manis Terengganu

Lemak Manis is one of the tastiest bananas because it has a fine texture, very sweet, fatty and fragrant. The fruit is the smallest banana in the banana fruit category. A superior dessert banana but yield is very low. There are two types – Pisang Lemak Manis Kelantan and Pisang Lemak Manis Terengganu. Pisang Lemak Manis Terengganu is the preferred cultivar due to its superior eating quality although the yield is lower. The plant height is between 1.5-2.0 meters. It will take 50-60 days of flowering to harvest. The weight of a bunch is approximately 4-6 kg.
