Kaduk / Wild Betel

(Piper sarmentosum)

A creeping perennial herb with stems up to 10m
long. The leaves are often confused with betel
pepper, but they lack the intense taste and are
much smaller in size. Wild betel has long been
used traditionally to treat diabetes and
hypertension.
